Solidification of Drive

James Eric Fuller, heard of him? He was shot by the Tuscon psycho, then arrested soon after, why? Well he went on a tirade about killing conservatives.
Two points, one he was arrested and placed in a loony bin for crazy talk-in Tuscon-so it was possible to prevent the psycho, huh interesting. Second point, and this one is the one that really convinces me that my decision to quit trying to bring reason to peoples political faith was dead on, Fuller was mostly ignored by the media. The few articles I found about him mention that he threatened to kill some"leader(?)" of the Tea Party. Most of the articles promptly mention that he apologized for it and said he got caught up in the fervor. What all omit are things like his tirade about going door to door and killing conservatives or his interview with NY Times where he listed conservatives that should be killed, their ears cut off and a necklace made of the ears, with Cheney's ears in center cause they're the biggest.
A fair, unbiased media should have used him as an example of the person they were crying about-a man driven to extremes by political rhetoric, I mean he was driven by the media blaming Palin and Tea Party for the psychos actions, but since it didn't fit their prejudice views they ignored it. I am positive that their rationale was"it can't be true, because he was a liberal wanting to kill conservatives and that's just impossible."
Actually a fair, unbiased media would have covered both stories for what they are-mostly sad tales of people who are crazy and a side story of a failure (not shocking at all) of the state (Police for one) to prevent a tragedy and help a diseased kid.
